Haunting of the Hill House- Horror genre needed this

Haunting of the hill house is an Netflix original horror series consisting of 10 episodes. Horror genre usually shines much better in Movie as a viewer can only handle so much in so short amount of time with all the jumpscares and anticipation. Horror movies have mostly been consisting of combination of cinematography with sound effects to provide scary scenes. Usually this is done in order to make us viewer feel surprised. Haunting of the hill house is also consisting of all of this but also has a nice well written story to follow and with budget of netflix . The series is about group of siblings who have moved in new house and they find themselves having some supernatural interaction with some unknown forces.  Since there are 5 siblings and each have their own perception of the same events, the story is scattered in each episode. Sharp objects is american psychological thriller starring Amy adams as protagonist. The show starts projecting elements of mystery and psychological drama that will follow further. Someone who has watched True detective will for sure start comparing Sharp objects with it as here protagonist have some similarities like losing someone closer to them in the past which has become their emotional baggage and they carry it around making their personality portrayed in a gloomy manner. The protagonist here is criminal journalist who has been sent to her hometown in order to gain information about the recent murder of two young girls so the story of incident can be published with a personal touch which would otherwise would not gain much attention if such article would have been written objectively and by someone who didn't have much insight about the hometown.
