Mr. Robot Review

Mr. Robot is an american television series based on drama-thriller genre however the thing making it most different and unique is its story and most important Cinematography. I have studied Cinematography as a subject enough to know that what Mr. Robot does totally breaks basic rules of cinematography, yet so appealing that it works flawlessly.
And to those who think this is some story about a robot who is called Mr. robot please stop reading and get yourself checked up.
Mr. Robot's first episode or Pilot as it is called is the only episode or the content that i have ever watched more than 2 times. Elliot who is the protagonist of the story is cyber security engineer who has completely different view of the world that we live in and brings out the harsh reality from his perspective which usually goes unnoticed.Story follows this young programmer who views world in disgust and usually hates this society as he is tired of everyone being hypocrite and fake. He also is a vigilante hacker who exposes wrong people which is great irony. Though this is what is revealed in pilot only to realize later that there is much bigger  story and  which will change anyone's perspective. It turns into great psychological thriller as wrong side of Elliot is revealed only to make you question if you should root for this character who faces conflicts within himself and tries to save the world by doing unethical works.

Moral ambiguity is one of the factor that is very realistic and makes us viewer only involved in the world. From Elliot's point of view, we are his imaginary friend to whom he talks to, not as in breaking the fourth wall but his thoughts and only his thoughts and we are set on a journey where Elliot has a dream of better world which he tries to accomplish when a weird man follows him and offers to join his group of hackers to change the world for better.

Let's talk about cinematography, Quadrant framing is something very unusual which results in jarring effect making it unwatchable but in this show this framing suits perfectly as a character's head is shown on right bottom or left bottom exposing rest of the screen completely empty which displays isolation the character and gives a clean look to the character which is what story is driven by.
On further viewing the story unveiled is mind baffling and clearly stands out of all tv shows ever.
I highly recommend this show to anyone but in the end this is not the show for everyone.

Netflix Devilman Crybaby's Review

It takes a quite a long gap for any movie or series fan to keep stumbling upon good and classic piece of entertainment one after another but recently after Made in abyss and Ancient Magus' Bride stumbling upon Netflix's Devilman Crybaby has been a treat. Devilman Crybaby stands out because of four main reasons which is Music and soundtrack, Gore, Sexual violence and Visual animation style. The trippy animation is impressive, its not always there but when its there and when it hits, it so fucking goddamn hits. Music and soundtrack in background is far beyond impressive, its perfect and especially when combined with trippy animation, the result is something from which you can't take your eyes off. Its one of the anime of its kind as a lot of anime barely reach that boundary of  nudity but with Netflix's support it totally takes benefit of that and the result is very strange offering the viewer trippy sexual gory violence. Just because visual representation is so w

Sharp Objects Review

Sharp objects is american psychological thriller starring Amy adams as protagonist. The show starts projecting elements of mystery and psychological drama that will follow further. Someone who has watched True detective will for sure start comparing Sharp objects with it as here protagonist have some similarities like losing someone closer to them in the past which has become their emotional baggage and they carry it around making their personality portrayed in a gloomy manner. The protagonist here is criminal journalist who has been sent to her hometown in order to gain information about the recent murder of two young girls so the story of incident can be published with a personal touch which would otherwise would not gain much attention if such article would have been written objectively and by someone who didn't have much insight about the hometown. Returning upon home she is confronted by her past and here and there flashbacks scenes happen quite often but they don't rev
