Haunting of the Hill House- Horror genre needed this

Haunting of the hill house is an Netflix original horror series consisting of 10 episodes. Horror genre usually shines much better in Movie as a viewer can only handle so much in so short amount of time with all the jumpscares and anticipation. Horror movies have mostly been consisting of combination of cinematography with sound effects to provide scary scenes. Usually this is done in order to make us viewer feel surprised. Haunting of the hill house is also consisting of all of this but also has a nice well written story to follow and with budget of netflix . The series is about group of siblings who have moved in new house and they find themselves having some supernatural interaction with some unknown forces.  Since there are 5 siblings and each have their own perception of the same events, the story is scattered in each episode. First 3 episode quite are alright as characters are introduced and story is being established slowly. After 4th episode is where viewer can say that cha

Sharp Objects Review

Sharp objects is american psychological thriller starring Amy adams as protagonist. The show starts projecting elements of mystery and psychological drama that will follow further. Someone who has watched True detective will for sure start comparing Sharp objects with it as here protagonist have some similarities like losing someone closer to them in the past which has become their emotional baggage and they carry it around making their personality portrayed in a gloomy manner. The protagonist here is criminal journalist who has been sent to her hometown in order to gain information about the recent murder of two young girls so the story of incident can be published with a personal touch which would otherwise would not gain much attention if such article would have been written objectively and by someone who didn't have much insight about the hometown. Returning upon home she is confronted by her past and here and there flashbacks scenes happen quite often but they don't rev

Netflix Devilman Crybaby's Review

It takes a quite a long gap for any movie or series fan to keep stumbling upon good and classic piece of entertainment one after another but recently after Made in abyss and Ancient Magus' Bride stumbling upon Netflix's Devilman Crybaby has been a treat. Devilman Crybaby stands out because of four main reasons which is Music and soundtrack, Gore, Sexual violence and Visual animation style. The trippy animation is impressive, its not always there but when its there and when it hits, it so fucking goddamn hits. Music and soundtrack in background is far beyond impressive, its perfect and especially when combined with trippy animation, the result is something from which you can't take your eyes off. Its one of the anime of its kind as a lot of anime barely reach that boundary of  nudity but with Netflix's support it totally takes benefit of that and the result is very strange offering the viewer trippy sexual gory violence. Just because visual representation is so w

Mr. Robot Review

Mr. Robot is an american television series based on drama-thriller genre however the thing making it most different and unique is its story and most important Cinematography. I have studied Cinematography as a subject enough to know that what Mr. Robot does totally breaks basic rules of cinematography, yet so appealing that it works flawlessly. And to those who think this is some story about a robot who is called Mr. robot please stop reading and get yourself checked up. Mr. Robot's first episode or Pilot as it is called is the only episode or the content that i have ever watched more than 2 times. Elliot who is the protagonist of the story is cyber security engineer who has completely different view of the world that we live in and brings out the harsh reality from his perspective which usually goes unnoticed.Story follows this young programmer who views world in disgust and usually hates this society as he is tired of everyone being hypocrite and fake. He also is a vigil

Blade runner 2049 review

Blade runner 2049 is a sequel to 1982's classic Blade Runner which ultimately proves to be an perfect example of what an sequel should be. Ryan gosling has played role of Blade Runner himself in this movie chasing replicants when he comes across new case which changes his entire life and later the story that unfolds is suspenseful, thrilling and exciting to watch. However movie is almost 3 hours so it will test your patience. Very few movies are out there which always stay top of your mind so if anyone asks for suggestion for what they should watch you would immediately refer them that movie and this is the movie that is just like that. I have divided this movie in simple aspects to evaluate on and you can see for yourself if it fits your category. *NOTE* As its sequel you should watch Blade runner (1982) first and watching this prequel is worth only later to watch this Blade Runner 2049. Entertaining ? Absolutely if you have a knack for thriller, mystery and suspense stor
